When I first burst onto the communications scene in the late 90s as a newbie at one of the world’s largest public relations firms, the internet hadn’t yet made its debut. Press releases were faxed to reporters, emails served as the primary form of communication and clients only garnered media coverage via television, newspapers and magazines.
